Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County dedicates home to 11th partner family

Ashley with her four children, Carter, Cameron, Olivia and Genevieve Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County and community members gathered today to celebrate their partnership with Ashley Mikkelsen and her family while dedicating a Habitat home to the family. With Habitat’s assistance, the family took ownership of an existing home in Maryville. During the dedication service, the Optimist Club of Maryville presented the family with a Bible, and Today’s Civic Women presented the family with a collection of toys, books, movies and games. The Caring Quilters of First United Methodist Church in Maryville provided a quilt to the family. Mikkelsen and her four children – Olivia, 11; twins Genevieve and Carter, 9; and Cameron, 7 – have moved into a home Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County and its volunteers completed in 2017.
